Helen Louise VanAtta

July 21, 1940 - June 23, 2015

Helen Louise VanAtta, 74, of Bremen, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Homestead, Lancaster. She was born July 21, 1940 in Shawnee, Ohio the daughter of the late Paul M. and Betty E. (McCarty) VanAtta. She was a graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and was retired from Anchor Hocking with 38 years service. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her nephews, great- nephews and great-niece. Helen is survived by her brothers, John R. (Sharon) VanAtta and Donald (Penny) VanAtta; nephews, Chris (Tammy), Tim and Don Jr. VanAtta; great-nephews, Kyle and Dalton VanAtta and great-niece, Carolyn VanAtta; half-sister, Shirley (Jerry) Cowles. A time to visit with her family will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Grandview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
