Virginia "Ginny" Call

Virginia “Ginny” (Deck) Call, age 101, of Bremen, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. She was born January 13, 1922 in Morristown, Ohio the daughter of Wilber and Amelia (Clay) Deck. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Bremen. She was a full-time homemaker and took great pleasure in baking cookies and other goodies to share with family and friends. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. She rarely missed any of their sporting events.
She is survived by son, Steven (Penny) Call of Rushville; daughter, Kathy Hartman of Bremen; and son, James (Lisa) Drumm of Lawrenceville, Georgia; five grandsons, Jeremy (Deanna) Call; Nick (Maria) Call; Matthew (Christina) Hartman; Eric (Becky) Hartman and Bob (Pam) Drumm; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Call and first husband, Robert Drumm; sisters, Evelyn Gorley and Betty McConnell; and brothers, Kenneth and Harold Deck.
A time to visit with Ginny’s family will be Wednesday, August 2nd from 5 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 3rd at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Paul Wymer officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
